EMPOWERING YOUNG MINDS IN 2023
Blake was inspiring school kids to reach their academic and sports goals by using a growth mindset this summer. Setting small goals, asking for help and using the power of yet are all strategies Blake shares with children to help them tackle challenges and strive for success.
Blake is using his racing journey to inspire elementary students, with a focus on students of color, to reach for their academic and sports dreams. Blake talks to students about using “Growth Mindset” strategies including “the power of yet” when trying to reach difficult goals. “I may not be able to do this YET, but I will get it if I keep trying.” He shares with them how “Growth Mindset” helps him to overcome the obstacles he encounters as he continues on the road to his NASCAR cup dream.
