Blake had some serious speed when he kicked off the racing season at the CARS Tour season opener at Southern National Motorsports Park. After having the third fastest practice time, he qualified 16th in a field of 32 for the 125 lap race. Blake’s Texas Lawbook #59 kept speed and pace through the race, until getting caught up in an incident ahead of him on the track in the last six laps of the race, ending P24. Thanks to Mike Darne Racing for the rocket ship and all of Blake’s great sponsors including Texas Lawbook, POTUS ABC Kids and Redline Detection.
SPOOKTACULAR P2 FINISH FOR BLAKE AT SOUTHERN NATIONAL HALLOWEEN WEEKEND
Halloween racing was a real treat at Southern National Motorsports Park this weekend. Came home with a P2 trophy in my candy sack. Was able to scare off most of the competition , save one. Took the lead late in the 125 lap race with an unconventional pass at the top of the track right at the final restart. Held on to the top spot for 15 laps, but lost it close to the end after tire wear took its toll. Finished up P2. Want to thank Mike Darne racing for the rocket ship they delivered right out of the hauler and a big shoutout to my new spotter Blaise Brinkley. Could not have made it happen without sponsors Redline Detection, Colette Phillips Communication and Texas Lawbook

BLAKE MAKES HIS SECOND NASCAR TRUCK SERIES START AT INDIANAPOLIS RACEWAY PARK ON 7/29/22
Blake had a great run at Indianapolis Speedway Park on July 29th, keeping pace and making several passes until a snapped drive shaft took the Reaume Bros. Racing Texas Lawbook #43 out of the race at lap 72. Learned a lot and looking forward to the next one.
Blake Lothian hits the asphalt in the Urban Youth Racing School Grand Prix of Philadelphia
Blake’s so excited to be racing for a great cause in Philly this Friday. He’ll be competing against NASCAR’s best in the Urban Youth Racing School Philadelphia Grand Prix. Drivers will be hitting the asphalt in karts outside the Please Touch Museum in Fairmount Park. Events like this help support programs that grow the next generation of drivers and racing engineers. Blake got his start in racing, with competitive karting in a similar way. He commented, “I know just how important organizations like UYRS are for kids who have a passion for racing.” If you’re in the area Friday, come out and see what UYRS has to offer and maybe make a donation. It’s sure to be a fun afternoon of racing and other activities. Best of all, the tickets are free. Register at UYRS.com now for your free ticket
NEW LOOK, NEW SPONSORS FOR A CRAZY TOP 10 RACE WEEKEND AT HICKORY
So thrilled to have new sponsors Colette Phillips Communications and Redline Detection aboard the #59, as we debuted our new look at Hickory Motor Speedway this weekend. It was action packed racing the whole night. A broken strut took us out of Race #1, and that meant a mad dash back to the shop in my family car for a replacement part. Luckily, thanks to my miracle crew at Mike Darne Racing, we were able to make it back to the track, repair the car, and make it to the grid for Race #2. Because of the replacement part, we had to start from the back of the pack. I managed to drive my way up to the top 5 , at times making some crazy 3 and 4 wide moves along the way (see photo). Ended the night losing the car’s hood but finished a solid P7. All thanks to my crew and sponsors Colette Phillips, Redline Detection, POTUSABC kids and Texas Lawbook.
BLAKE PARTNERS WITH REDLINE DETECTION
Orange, Calif., April 14th – Redline Detection, the world’s leader in diagnostic leak detection technology, announced today their sponsorship of 19-year-old NASCAR driver Blake Lothian. Lothian, nicknamed “The Youngster”, is a Wellesley, MA native who began competitively racing go-karts at the age of 10 and over the years has proven himself on the track as one to watch.
In 2021, Blake completed a successful late-model rookie season, debuting in the top five at Southern National in June and finishing the season with a first-place win and a pole at Hickory Motor Speedway. Blake started 2022 strong by breaking a two-year old track qualifying time record at Hickory Motor Speedway in March and competing in his first truck race at the Camping World Truck series in Martinsville in April, where he successfully completed all 200 laps with a P28 finish.
In addition to his racing successes, Blake is an advocate for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, participating in the Racing for a Cure fundraiser in memory of his aunt and grandmother. Blake has also been recognized by the Wellesley School Committee for his commitment to motivating young children to reach their goals in academics and sports.
"I'm so impressed by all that Blake has accomplished on the racetrack at such a young age, as well as his dedication to empowering other young people in the community to pursue their goals," said Alex Parker, CMO of Redline Detection. "The Redline team is thrilled to sponsor Blake and cheer him on toward many more successes."
Blake Takes Time Out to Inspire School Kids To Achieve Their Dreams
Blake’s favorite thing to do, next to racing, is to inspire young racers and school kids. He did that today at the Fiske Elementary School, in his hometown of Wellesley, MA. Setting small goals, the “power of yet” and asking for help when you’re struggling, was just some of the advice he gave kids today.
BLAKE BRINGS THE #43 BACK CLEAN AND P28 IN HIS MARTINSVILLE TRUCK SERIES DEBUT
Blake’s first race in the Camping World Truck series this April was also his first time ever driving a truck. That’s because a rain delay at Martinsville cancelled both practice and qualifying on race day. Despite that the rookie completed all 200 laps bringing the track home intact. He started 30th out of a 40 car field at the historic paperclip and finished p28. Blake is so thankful to Josh Reaume and Reaume Brothers Racing for their support. Stay tuned for his next opportunity behind the wheel of the #43
BLAKE MAKES HIS NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES DEBUT AT MARTINSVILLE ON 4/7/22
MOORESVILLE, NC - Reaume Brothers Racing is proud
to announce that NASCAR Drive for Diversity alumni and local
short track star Blake Lothian will make his NASCAR Camping
World Truck Series debut with Reaume Brothers Racing at
Martinsville Speedway. This comes after Lothian, who started his
racing career in go karts at age five, had a very successful 2021
season, obtaining his first win at Hickory Motor Speedway in just
his fourth start in a late model. After making eight total starts in
2021, Blake Lothian secured eight top-10 finishes, five top 5’s and
one win.
The Wellesley, Massachusetts native is looking forward to
continuing his success from 2021. “I’m so grateful to Josh Reaume and everyone at Reaume
Brothers Racing for this opportunity. Looking forward to learning and growing with this team. I
remember first watching Todd Bodine race trucks when I was little and ever since then, racing a
truck has been a dream of mine. Now I am going to get that opportunity thanks to Reaume
Brothers Racing. Coming off of a successful 2021 season, I’m beyond thankful for the
opportunity to race at such a historic venue as Martinsville in a NASCAR Camping World Truck.
The opportunities that everyone at Reaume Brothers Racing gives to numerous drivers is more
generous than I could ever ask for, and I am looking forward to being a piece of the puzzle on the
Paperclip.” Blake Lothian will have Colette Phillips Communications on Board in Martinsville,
and President and CEO Colette Phillips sees the passion in Lothian just as she has had
throughout her life. “As a black entrepreneur, and someone who broke down barriers...I
know firsthand just how important Blake’s journey to the top is for black and brown kids,” said
Phillips. "Blake’s commitment to excellence and justice on and off the track is admirable, and
reflective of a young man wise beyond his years," she added
Josh Reaume, owner of Reaume Brothers Racing, is eager to give Blake Lothian an
opportunity to make his name. “Giving drivers the opportunity to make their name is part of the
reason I have continued in NASCAR for many years. I see the same motivation and passion in
Blake that I have in myself, and I am excited to give Blake the opportunity he deserves.”
